Death to all Men: Original poem on paper nailed to the wall.

For U Otro Lado, I unwound through my habitual intuition in regards to the material and approach presented. Each element is acutely personal yet adaptable to the collective message of the group. A handwritten poem on paper; bones from a past meal with a distant friend; a mattress marked with the silhouette of a once loved one, now corrupted — all create a window to the past, illustrating the scarring process of time as we share each other’s presence in this realm. These pieces mark what I consider “small deaths”, sprouting quietly as a new path.
